TisXell Bioreactor
Accelerating Cells and Tissue Development with Quality and Quantity
Why TisXell?
TisXell is a next-generation bioreactor system designed to revolutionize cell and tissue development through patented biaxial rotation with perfusion technology. Built for researchers, clinicians, and engineers, TisXell replicates in vivo-like conditions in vitro, promoting faster, healthier, and more uniform cell growth.
Key Benefits
Simulates native extracellular matrix (ECM) with optimized shear and flow conditions.
Achieves homogeneous cell proliferation at both surface and deep scaffold cores.
Maintains high viability with reduced necrotic zones and minimal cell debris.
No adverse effects on mRNA expression levels related to cell lineage or stemness.
Shown to enhance osteogenesis and chondrogenesis in multiple studies.

Tissue Engineering
- Efficient mass transfer in thick grafts
- Shorter culture time with improved ECM
- Applications in bone, cartilage, and vascular tissue engineering
How It Works
The biaxial rotating mechanism involves two independent orthogonal axes (spin and tumble) within a spherical vessel design. This promotes:
- Low-shear, uniform fluid mixing
- Optimal nutrient and gas exchange
- Mechanotransduction signaling for tissue remodeling
Customizable holders, scaffold supports, and chamber sizes available.
Proven Performance
- Up to 10x Cell Expansion compared to static chambers
- Healthy Cell Morphology with less clumping and debris
- Retained Chondrogenic Markers: Higher expression of Col2 and Agg, confirming native function
- Scalability: From 25 ml to 2000 ml with multiple configurations (TX and MX models)
